Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 bell pepper (red or green), finely chopped

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Cooking spray or parchment paper for baking

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Cook the Steak and Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the finely chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the sliced ribeye steak, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the steak is just browned, about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to form a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into strips about 3 inches wide and 4-5 inches long.

Assemble the Filling: On each strip of dough, place a spoonful of the steak and vegetable mixture in the center of the strip. Top with both provolone and mozzarella cheese.

Seal the Breadsticks: Carefully fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket. Seal the edges by pinching them together. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch. Place the stuffed breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet.

Add Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the stuffed breadsticks with the beaten egg. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top if desired, for extra flavor.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Let the breadsticks cool for a minute before serving. Slice them into individual pieces and serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
