Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon lemon zest

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Juice of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Shrimp and Asparagus: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shrimp and trimmed asparagus.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

Combine and Season: Pour the garlic butter over the shrimp and asparagus. Toss everything together until the shrimp and asparagus are evenly coated with the mixture.

Spread on the Sheet Pan: Transfer the shrimp and asparagus mixture to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out in a single layer for even cooking.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the asparagus is tender yet crisp.

Add Lemon Juice: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and asparagus for a burst of flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the dish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and added freshness. Serve immediately, enjoying your quick and healthy meal!
