Ingredients

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, allowing it to hang over the sides for easy removal later.

Melt the Chocolate Mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir frequently until everything is melted and smooth.

Incorporate Matcha: Remove the saucepan from heat. In a small bowl, mix the matcha green tea powder with a tablespoon of warm water to create a smooth paste. Zest in the matcha paste, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt into the melted chocolate mixture. Stir until fully combined and the mixture has a uniform green color.

Pour and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly. Tap the dish gently on the countertop to remove any air bubbles.

Chill: Place the fudge in the refrigerator for about 2-4 hours or until fully set.

Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Place it on a cutting board and cut into small squares. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
