Ingredients

2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked and crumbled ground beef (or turkey)

1 (12 oz) jar of salsa (mild or spicy, to your taste)

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 can black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup corn (frozen or canned, drained)

1/2 cup chopped green onions

Tortilla chips, for serving

Optional toppings: cilantro, sliced jalapeños, diced tomatoes

Instructions

In the slow cooker, place the softened cream cheese as the base layer.

Add the sour cream on top of the cream cheese.

Sprinkle the taco seasoning mix evenly over the sour cream.

Layer the cooked ground beef evenly over the sour cream and seasoning mix.

Pour the jar of salsa over the meat, ensuring it covers the mixture well.

Add the black beans and corn, spreading them evenly.

              Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.

When ready to serve, gently stir the dip to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.

Garnish with chopped green onions and any additional toppings you desire.

Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
