Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust based on your spice preference)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Wings:

    - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help keep the wings crispy.

      - Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Dry wings will help achieve a crispy texture when baked.

        Season the Wings:

          - In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Make sure each wing is well-coated with the seasoning.

            Bake the Wings:

              - Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack. This allows air circulation around the wings for crispiness.

                - Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the wings are golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Make the Spicy Honey Butter Sauce:

                    - While the wings are baking, combine the melted butter, honey, and hot sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir well and cook for about 2-3 minutes until heated through, allowing the flavors to meld.

                      Glaze the Wings:

                        - Once the wings are crispy, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the spicy honey butter sauce over the wings and toss to coat thoroughly.

                          Serve:

                            - Transfer the glazed wings to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve immediately with celery sticks and your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
