Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings (party style or whole)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken Wings: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help them crisp up in the oven.

Make the Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Marinate the Wings: Add the chicken wings to the marinade, making sure all wings are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. For maximum flavor, marinate for up to 2 hours.

Bake the Wings: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated wings in a single layer. Reserve some marinade for basting later. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.

Baste and Caramelize: Remove the wings from the oven, baste them with the reserved marinade, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the wings are sticky and caramelized.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the wings. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese.
