Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream the Butter and Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

Add Sugars and Egg: Gradually add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until well combined. Then, beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

Fold in Strawberries and Chocolate: Gently fold in the diced strawberries and white chocolate chips (if using) until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Scoop Cookies: Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers will still look soft; they will firm up as they cool.

Cool and Dust: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
