Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

1 cup strawberry pie filling

Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even layer.

Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping until well combined.

Assemble the Dessert: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust layer in the baking dish. Layer the sliced fresh strawberries over the cream cheese layer.

Add Strawberry Topping: Spoon the strawberry pie filling evenly over the fresh strawberries, spreading it out to cover the layer.

Final Layer: Top with the remaining 1 cup of whipped topping, smoothing it out with a spatula for an even finish.

Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set and the flavors to meld.

Serve: Before serving, garnish with additional fresh strawberries if desired. Cut into squares and enjoy a delightful bite of strawberry cheesecake bliss!
