Ingredients

4 cups fresh baby spinach, washed and dried

1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup slivered almonds (toasted for extra flavor)

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing

1 tablespoon honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing the baby spinach thoroughly. Remove the stems if they are thick, and then pat the leaves dry with a towel. Hull the strawberries and slice them to your preferred thickness.

Toast the Almonds: In a small skillet over medium heat, add the slivered almonds. Toast them for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Once toasted, remove from heat and let cool.

Mix the Salad: In a large salad bowl, combine the fresh spinach, sliced strawberries, crumbled feta cheese, toasted almonds, and sliced red onion.

Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinaigrette and honey (if using) until well combined. Adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired.

Dress the Salad: Drizzle the balsamic dressing over the salad. Toss gently to ensure all the ingredients are well-coated. Be careful not to bruise the strawberries.

Season to Taste: Add salt and pepper to your taste preference, tossing again lightly to combine.

Serve: Transfer the salad to individual plates or serve family-style in the large bowl. Enjoy immediately for the best flavor!
