Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 ½ cups almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 medium apple, peeled and diced

1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ cup Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)

2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (or pecans)

Pinch of salt

Toppings: additional diced apple, nut butter, granola, or whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, and Greek yogurt (if using). Stir well until the oats are thoroughly mixed with the milk.

Add in the diced apple, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg, chopped walnuts, and a pinch of salt. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Divide the mixture into two jars or containers with lids. Ensure that they are sealed tightly to prevent spillage.

Refrigerate the jars overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.

The next morning, give the oats a good stir. If you prefer a creamier consistency, you can splash in a little more milk.

Top the oats with additional diced apples, a drizzle of nut butter, a sprinkle of granola, or even a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Enjoy your Sweet Apple Pie Overnight Oats cold straight from the fridge or warm them in the microwave for about 30 seconds if you prefer.
