Ingredients

3 ripe peaches, peeled and diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust based on heat preference)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)

Salt and pepper to taste

Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced peaches, red onion, red bell pepper, and minced jalapeño.

Add the chopped cilantro to the bowl. Gently toss the ingredients together to mix evenly.

Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture. Stir gently to incorporate the juice without mashing the peaches.

If you prefer a sweeter salsa, drizzle in the honey and mix again.

Season the salsa with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting according to your preference.

Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together before serving.

Serve the Sweet Peach Salsa with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled chicken or fish.
