Ingredients

1 pound ground pork (or turkey)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free if desired)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 large egg

2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

For the Honey Sriracha Sauce:

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon water (to thin out, if necessary)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, breadcrumbs, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated, but do not over-mix to keep them tender.

Shape the Meatballs: Using a spoon or your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Make the Honey Sriracha Sauce: While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, Sriracha, rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and sesame oil. Stir and bring to a simmer. If the sauce is too thick, add water to reach your desired consistency.

Glaze the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and drizzle half of the honey Sriracha sauce over them. Gently toss to coat all sides.

Serve: Transfer the meatballs to a serving platter or individual plates. Drizzle with additional honey Sriracha sauce and sprinkle with extra green onions for garnish. Enjoy them hot!
