Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons instant yeast

1 ½ cups warm milk (about 110°F)

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Whisk together until well mixed.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs until fully combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix using a wooden spoon or spatula until a shaggy dough forms.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. The dough should spring back when lightly pressed.

Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl, turning once to coat the top. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-1.5 hours.

Once risen, punch down the dough to release the air. Divide it into 12 equal pieces.

Shape each piece into a smooth ball by tucking the edges underneath. Place the rolls in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, leaving a little space between them.

Cover the rolls with the kitchen towel again and let them rise until doubled, about 30-45 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Once the rolls have risen, brush the tops generously with melted butter.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. An internal temperature of 190°F indicates they are fully baked.

Remove from the oven and brush with additional melted butter for an extra soft, flavorful crust. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes | Servings: 12 rolls
