Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken: While the pasta cooks, season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add Cheese: Begin adding the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing it into the sauce until melted and fully combined. Follow with the shredded mozzarella cheese, stirring until creamy and smooth.

Combine: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly in the Alfredo sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to thin it out.

Add Chicken: Gently fold in the sliced chicken and let everything cook together on low heat for another 2-3 minutes to meld flavors. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed.

Serve: Divide the creamy chicken Alfredo among plates, garnishing with chopped fresh parsley. Enjoy it warm!
