Ingredients

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped (or 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained)

1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 cup cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream

½ cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the baking dish)

Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish (8-inch square or similar) with olive oil.

Prepare the Spinach: If using fresh spinach, sauté it in a pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. If using frozen spinach, ensure it’s fully thawed and drained.

Mix the Creamy Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and well combined, using a hand mixer or a spatula.

Add the Spinach and Artichokes: Fold in the chopped spinach and artichoke hearts into the cream mixture.

Cheese it Up: Add the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Spoon the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

Serve and Garnish: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips, pita bread, or fresh vegetable sticks.
