1/2 cup popcorn kernels

2 tablespoons coconut oil (or vegetable oil)

2 tablespoons truffle oil (more if desired)

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Optional: chopped fresh herbs (like parsley or chives) for garnish

Instructions
 

Pop the Corn: In a large pot, heat the coconut oil over medium-high heat. Add a few popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with a lid. Once those kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn kernels in an even layer. Cover the pot and allow the popcorn to pop, shaking the pot occasionally (about every 30 seconds) to prevent burning. Once popping slows down to about 2 seconds between pops, remove from heat.

    Prepare the Topping: In a mixing bowl, combine the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, sea salt, and freshly cracked black pepper. Set aside.

      Drizzle and Toss: Once the popcorn is popped, immediately drizzle the truffle oil over the hot popcorn while tossing to ensure even coating. Be careful not to burn yourself!

        Add the Cheese: While the popcorn is still warm and slightly oily, sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over it. Toss thoroughly to ensure every piece is coated.
