Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn (or 2 cans of sweet corn, drained)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: If using fresh corn, remove the husks and silk, then carefully cut the kernels off the cob. If using canned corn, simply drain and rinse under cold water.

Make the Cajun Butter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful butter sauce.

Combine Corn and Butter: Add the corn (fresh or canned) into the bowl with the Cajun butter mixture. Stir gently to coat the corn evenly with the buttery spice blend.

        Cook the Corn:

          - Grilling Method: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the corn in a grill basket or wrap in aluminum foil and grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until heated through and slightly charred.

            - Sauté Method: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the corn mixture. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the corn is heated through and slightly caramelized.

Finish and Serve: Remove the corn from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until well incorporated. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve with lime wedges for squeezing over the top.

Enjoy: This Cajun-style corn is a zesty and flavorful side dish perfect for any meal or as a standalone snack!
