Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Zest and juice of 2 large lemons

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, leaves only

1 teaspoon honey (optional for a hint of sweetness)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh herbs, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, parsley, thyme, honey (if using), salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Pour the lemon herb marinade over the fillets, making sure they're well coated. Let them marinate for about 15-30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Bake the Salmon: After marinating, place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with lemon slices and extra fresh herbs before serving. Pair with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or rice.
