Ingredients

2 ripe mangos, diced

1 ripe avocado, diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust to taste)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 2 limes

Zest of 1 lime

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by dicing the ripe mangos and avocado carefully to maintain their shape. Chop the red onion finely and mince the jalapeño, removing the seeds for a milder flavor.

Combine the Ingredients: In a medium bowl, gently combine the diced mango, avocado, red onion, jalapeño, and halved cherry tomatoes. Be careful not to mash the avocado or mango.

Add Freshness: Sprinkle the chopped cilantro over the mixture. Then, zest the lime and add the zest to the bowl.

Season: Squeeze the juice of the two limes over the salsa mixture. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.

Chill: Let the salsa chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve: Serve the zesty mango avocado salsa with tortilla chips, over grilled fish, or as a topping for tacos. Enjoy the bright, fresh flavors!
